Garlic Butter Beef Fried Rice
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked jasmine rice (preferably day-old)
1/2 lb beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp sesame oil
2 eggs (lightly beaten)
1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
1/2 cup carrots (diced)
1/2 cup peas
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook Beef: Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan or wok. Add sliced beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Scramble Eggs: In the same pan, add the beaten eggs and cook until scrambled. Remove and set aside.
Cook Vegetables: Heat the remaining oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add the carrots and peas, cooking for 2-3 minutes until tender.
Add Rice and Sauces: Stir in the cooked rice, breaking up any clumps. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir-fry until the rice is evenly coated.
Combine and Finish: Return the cooked beef and scrambled eggs to the pan. Toss everything together and add butter, stirring until melted and incorporated. Season with salt and pepper.
